Day 169: Learning to Love
Today, I grapple with an unsettling realization: the possibility that she may never want to see me again. The weight of this thought presses deeply, stirring a profound sadness within me—a sadness for what might have been and the daunting path of moving forward alone.
I must now face the stark truth that learning to love myself is not just an option but a necessity. It’s a journey I am only just beginning, filled with uncertainty and the challenge of filling the void left by lost love.
“Tears come from the heart and not from the brain.” — Leonardo da Vinci.
This quote by Leonardo da Vinci resonates deeply today as I acknowledge that my tears are not merely reactions, but expressions from the heart—signs of a profound internal battle and the heart’s capacity to feel deeply, even in pain.
As I look ahead, I know I must forge a new path, one paved not with the expectation of her return but with the acceptance of my own worth. It’s a daunting journey, but it is also one brimming with potential—for every step taken in self-love is a step towards a future where I am my own source of happiness and strength.
This day is somber, yet it is also a testament to the strength required to face our deepest fears and sorrows head-on. In this solitude, I am learning that the darkest moments often lead to the greatest personal growth.
As always, our door is open. If you find yourself on a similar path, struggling with loss or self-doubt, remember you are not alone. Together, we can traverse the complexities of our emotions and emerge stronger.
