Day 155: A Melody Plays for Hope

Today, I’m lost in thoughts brought on by the melodies that have soundtracked my life. Music has this magical way of transporting us back in time, reigniting emotions and memories we hold dear. It’s in these moments I find myself thinking of Hope, whose presence in my life has been as impactful as any song could ever be.

My love for her remains unwavering, a constant melody that plays in the background of my daily existence, no matter the distance or circumstances. And while the music brings a bittersweet tinge to my days, it also reminds me of how grateful I am—grateful to be alive, grateful for the journey, and grateful for every piece of support I’ve received.

Maria von Trapp said, “Music acts like a magic key, to which the most tightly closed heart opens.” And it’s true. Today, my heart opens to embrace all the emotions, the love, and even the longing, letting each note resonate deeply within me.
