Day 120 — Little by Little
It’s wild to think that not too long ago I was still trapped in that cycle—using alcohol as my own slow way out of everything I couldn’t face. Yet here I am, 120 days sober. I won’t pretend it’s been easy, but along the way I’ve discovered corners of myself I never knew existed: letting words pour out into journals, making AI art, connecting with new communities—things I never imagined I’d do just a few months back.
The biggest shift is doing more for me now—not just for “hope” or anyone else. Sometimes I catch myself forgetting that. But still, little by little, I’m choosing me. I’m not finished healing, but I’m proud of how far I’ve come, especially compared to where I was.
If you’re reading this and feel stuck—whether it’s on Day 1 or Day 120 of your own journey—just keep going. You might surprise yourself with the places you land.
